A traditional India Pale Ale in the style of those sent to India in the 19th Century. Brews 40 pints. A high alcohol content and a very high hop rate were needed to preserve the beer on its long sea journey. The beer would normally be diluted to a more 'quaffable' strength before drinking.
Brews 23 litres (40 pints). Colour; dark amber. Bitterness; very high (EBC 38 - 42). A.b.v. 4.5 - 4.8%
